Benevolent Fund Board
The North West Frontier Province Benevolent Fund Board is a Governmental Organization working for the welfare of Serving / Retired Provincial Government employees as well as widows / children of deceased Government Servant across the province under the provision of N.W.F.P. Benevolent Fund Ordinance 1972.

The headquarter of the Benevolent Fund Board is located in Peshawar (provincial headquarter of North West Frontier Province – Pakistan), whereas District Benevolent Fund Boards have been constituted to provide easy access to the employees (BS-01 to BS-15) of Attached Departments in his/her own District / Agency.

The fund is made up of compulsory contributions recovered from each Government employee on monthly basis at source, at such rates as Government may, from time to time, prescribe. Present rates of contribution are as under: -

Basic Pay Scale
Rate
BS-01 to BS-04
Rs.25/- P.M.
BS-05 to BS-15 Rs.35/- P.M.
BS-16 & Above
Rs.75/- P.M

The subscription / contribution is collected from District Account Officers by Accountant General Office N.W.F.P and then transferred to N.W.F.P Benevolent Fund Board on regular basis. The fund so collected is divided into following two parts: -

Part – I (Gazetted)

Consist of contribution from Government employees working in BS-16 and Above.

Part – II (Non-Gazetted)
Consist of contribution from Government employees working in BS-01 to BS-15
