Objectives

Energy & Power Department looks after two abundantly available natural resources (i) Hydropower (ii) Oil & Gas (Hydrocarbons). The future of the Province is in two sectors. Efforts are underway to maximize the revenue from both these two sectors.

Economically Stable Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. To tap abundantly available Hydropower potential and for that Vision 2010-25 has been prepared

Pehur Hydropower Project (PHPP) is located in the Swabi District

Reshun hydropower project was constructed by SHYDO in 1999. The powerhouse is located about 52 km from Chitral Town towards Booni.
