There are five departments attached with Establishment Department namely Public Service Commission, Anti Corruption, Services Tribunal, Benevolent Fund Board and Staff Training Institute.

The Benevolent Fund Scheme was introduced in 1972 to extend financial assistance out of Benevolent Fund to all categories of Provincial Government servants under the provision of N.W.F.P. Benevolent Fund Ordinance 1972.
