The Authority has been divided into the following Directorates:

a. Directorate of Finance
b. Directorate of Planning & Implementation

Each Directorate is headed by a Director who is supported in his work by the General Manager concerned. The functions of each Directorate are given below:-

a. DIRECTORATE OF FINANCE

This Directorate deals with the maintenance of books of accounts at the Head Office and Projects; provision of funds for the projects, arrangements of funds from banks and financial institutions. Preparation of annual budgets and annual accounts, appointment of auditors and, makes sure that public funds are spent properly, and in accordance with rules and delegation of powers.

b. DIRECTORATE OF PLANNING & IMPLEMENTATION

The Directorate is responsible for preparation of all industrial schemes. Once approval of the project is given by the Government, the entire supervision/execution of civil works and erection of machinery etc is the responsibility of this Directorate. The Planning, establishment and operation of industrial estates is also being looked after by this Directorate.
