Introduction

The Sarhad Development Authority was established by the Provincial Government under Act XI of 1972. The Head Office of the Authority is located at Peshawar .

Objectives

The Authority is responsible for

a. Establishment of Industrial Estates / Industrial Zones.

b. Planning, Promoting, Organizing and Implementing programmes for the establishment of industries and commercial ventures.

c. Tendering advice on the technical, operational and commercial feasibilities of any programme or schemes specified by the Government.

Management

3. The general management and direction of the Organization vests in a Board of Directors, consisting of not less than three and not more than five at a time including the Chairman and Director (Finance).

4. The Chairman is also the Chief Executive of the Authority.
