The President of Pakistan promulgated Workers Children (Education) Ordinance No.XI
in the year 1972 for the education of workers children and matters ancillary thereto. The Provincial
Governments have been authorized vide para-6 of the Ordinance to make rules for carrying out the
purpose of the above mentioned Ordinance. The Provincial Government of NWFP has notified
NWFP Workers Children (Education) Collection of Cess Rules 1973, Cess (Utilization) Rules 1981
and Employees Service Rules 1993 accordingly.
