The NWFP Wildlife Department has established Wildlife Library at the Head Office at Peshawar under Wildlife Extension Program in NWFP to promote conservation education and awareness. The library currently has 1000 books covering different disciplines such as environment, wildlife, biodiversity, agriculture, protected areas, fisheries, environmental sciences, international treaties etc. moreover, different popular generals/ magazines of national and international report about wildlife conservation are also available in the library. Seating facilities for readers has been provided in the library. There are also different awareness materials prepared by different organizations, projects and wildlife divisions in the province. Newspapers on daily basis have been ensured to provide current updates on environmental approaches to the visitors.
