Abaseen Construction Corporation has been establishment to undertake construction of Roads/Highways and other developmental works in NWFP. The Chief Executive of the province of NWFP is patron-in-Chief of the Abaseen Constriction Corporation.

Functions

1. Construct, repair, maintain Highways, Roads, the allied structures and works.
2. Operate and maintain highways services including tolls, weighing stations etc.
3. Establish, maintain and operate a pool of earth moving road making and other machinery.
4. Undertake other civil engineering constriction and developmental works.

The corporation has about 348 machinery and machine shop items. In which 200 items are serviceable. 78 items are repairable and the rest are unserviceable. The serviceable machinery is also about 15 to 30 years old. But it has been kept serviceable by machinery will be put to auction. It is further pointed out that about 70% machinery consists of road rollers.
