Criteria for Selection of Trainees

Test through National Testing Services (NTS)

Entry Tests through NTS were conducted for selection of candidates in Batch I, II & III. Same will be conducted for the remaining two batches. The expenses of conducting test & fee of NTS per graduate/student are borne by the Directorate of IT.

Selection Criteria for appearing in NTS Exam

Qualification:  IT Graduates completed BE, BS (4 years)/M.Sc Computer Science/MIT or equivalent, from HEC recognized institution.
                                            OR
    
IT Students studying in last semester of BS (4 years)/M.Sc Computer Science/MIT or equivalent, from HEC recognized institution.

Merit Criteria for IT Excellence Center
The 20 candidates in each category (Network, Business Application & Web Technologies) “i.e. 60 candidates in each batch” were inducted in the first three batches & same criteria will be followed for the upcoming planned batches. Selection of candidates is purely on merit basis i.e.

Note: Selection of the candidates only based on NTS Test Score

After the selection, the graduates are given 2 months extensive practical training through Master trainers to polish their personal, business communication & technical skills.
After the training, different IT projects are assigned to these groups. The projects are identified by the Directorate of IT in consultation with the line departments according to their needs/requirement. Each individual project is completed in the specified time of six months.

Note: Special Rewards will be awarded to each individual after successfully completion of its project.
