Health Regulatory Authority comprising senior inspectors Faisal Khan, Asadullah
Khan, Suleman Jalal Khan, Arbab Rahmat Alam, Assistant Inspectors and Clerks;
Syed Raza Shah and Syed Inayat inspected several, private health institutions
in pursuance of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical and Health Institutions and
Regulation of Health Care Services Ordinance 2002 Amended into Act 2006.

Quaidabad No. 2 Peshawar City were locked and sealed in violation of the
non-registration and unqualified staff.
The people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been informed to
avoid treatment from those doctors who are not registered with the Health
Regulatory Authority. Non-Registration is contravention of section 19 which is
an offence under section 27 of the above Act and punishable with imprisonment
which may extend to seven years or with fine which may extend to Rs. .2 million
or with both.
doctors, hakims, homoeopaths, laboratories, hospitals, maternity homes, dental
practitioners, x-ray clinics, ultrasound clinics have been directed to register
their facilities with HRA in their own interest, which is mandatory under the
law otherwise legal action as per law shall be initiated against them. All the
practitioners quacks who are not eligible for registration are directed to stop
their illegal practices immediately if not then their facilities will be locked
and sealed by lodging FIR against them.
