The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Sports, Syed Aqil Shah on Monday
inaugurated Malik Cricket Academy situated at Ring Road Pishtakhara Chowk Peshawar.

Olympic Association were present on the occasion, Syed Aqil Shah praised the
role of academy and its Director for the promotion of cricket game and
announced Rs. 2.5 million for the academy’s development and provision of
water. He said the people serving sports were doing a marvelous job therefore
the government would assist them in all respect.
Earlier, players being trained at the academy were introduced to the
Sports Minister. Syed Aqil Shah hoped the players trained at the academy would
bring laurels for the province as well as country in the near future. He on
this occasion said that an international standard cricket ground at a cost of
Rs. 250 million would be made at Hayatabad Sports Complex and work on the same
would be started in two months.
