Chief Executive KTH/KMC/KCD Dr. Umar Ayub Khan started a joint venture program amongst the teaching hospitals. For this purpose an academic program for the postgraduate and undergraduate students was arranged on 21-6-12 in the conference room of Khyber Teaching Hospital Peshawar.

 Renowned Gynecologist Dr. Bushra Rauf Assistant Professor HMC Delivered a comprehensive lecture on Cardiac Disease in Pregnancy. In this program, doctors of the Gynae/Obst Department, Cardiology Department and Mass Emergency Unit as well as other senior teaching staff of the hospital were present on this occasion.

 Prof. Dr. Saima Gilani I/C of Gynae “B” Unit in her concluding remarks appreciated and lauded the efforts made by Dr. Umar Ayub Khan Chief Executive KTH/KMC/.KCD for the Multi Dimensional Program which is initiated by him. This joint program will improve the academic standard of post and undergraduate trainees.

            The Chief Executive while talking on the occasion announced that the next lecture will be delivered through Continuous Medical Education Program (CME) by one consultant in other teaching hospital. The Chief Executive also presented the hospital crest to Dr. Bushra Rauf in recognition of her services for the Gynae/Obst and a cash award of Rs. 10,000/-.
