Pursuance of the directives of the Supreme Court of Pakistan and policy of the Federal Government, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government has decided to provide pension payment facility through all scheduled banks of their choice besides the National Bank of Pakistan. The facility will help the pensioners get rid of waiting in long queues for long hours as they will receive pension directly in their personal accounts through computerized facility. The system will make the pension payment transparent, control its expenditure and help easily estimate pensions expenditures for future.

          In this regard, all administration departments have been directed to ask their pensioners open their accounts in scheduled banks of their choice near their residences and avail of the pension roll option which will be available to all retiring pensioners from Ist July 2012.
