The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Finance, Engr. Humayun Khan handed over a cheque of Rs. 2 million to the President District Bar Association Batkhela, Malakand Saeed Ullah Khan Advocate at his office in Civil Secretariat Peshawar today.

On this occasion, Provincial Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Barrister Arshad Abdullah and others were also present. Briefly talking, the Finance Minister said the lawyers community were playing a historical role for the independence of judiciary and stability of democratic system which the government held in high esteem. He assured the government respected judiciary adding that it would supplement its efforts for the cause of democracy and independent judiciary.
