The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Finance Engineer Mohammad Humayum Khan has said that present provincial Govt: was well aware of the difficulties being faced by the people due to the Power shortage and that was why two new hydro-power projects in Mataltan Swat and Lavi, Chitral have been inaugurated recently while 22 similar projects in the province were in pipeline.         This he said while talking to a 22 member delegation of Muslim Abad Thana, district Malakand which called on him at Dargai on Wednesday, to apprise him about the problems of low-voltage and over –loaded Transformers. On this occasion PPP tehsil chairman Mr. Saddique informed the provincial Minister about the overall out-of-order and over loaded transformers of the area. The Minister directed the Xen construction (wapda) Malakand Bashir Khan to prepare a complete list of the out of order and over loaded transformers of PK-99 so that approval in this connection be obtained from PESCO Chief and the problems solved once from all.
