Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information and  Public Relations, Mian Iftikhar Hussain has said that due to the Holy Month of Ramazan, the 3rd death anniversary of his son Mian Rashid Hussain Shaheed would be arranged with full simplicity on Thursday 26th July this year while special program in memory of Mian Rashid Hussain Shaheed would be held after the Eid ul Fitr. He appealed all his well wishers and party workers to locally arrange special programs and Khatmul Quraan for the departed soul of the Shaheed.

        He made this appeal while talking to the District President of ANP Nowshera Ahrar Khattak and President PK-12 Zar Ali Khan at Peshawar on Tuesday. The Minister besides discussing the death anniversary of Mian Rashid Hussain Shaheed, also deliberated upon the party matters, developmental strategy, upcoming general elections, problems of the common man and ways and means to strengthen contacts with the electorate.

        The Information Minister on this occasion thanked all those people who contacted and sympathized with him in connection with the death anniversary of his only son Mian Rashid Hussain Shaheed. He clarified that keeping in view the problems of the people due to Ramazanul Mubarrak, he decided to hold the death anniversary with simplicity.

        Mian Iftikhar continued that party workers were our precious asset and they offered matchless sacrifices in all odd hours for the country as well as for the party. Therefore, they have never been ignored in any matter but due weightage had always been given to them in all important issues, he added. He assured that genuine problems of the workers would be addressed on priority basis.

        The Minister called upon the party workers to make full preparation for the upcoming general elections as it was an year of elections. He was optimistic that the ANP on the basis of its performance and sacrifices would clean sweep the next genral elections and make the next provincial government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on its own.
